Sabrina Rice graduated from the University of Idaho in May with a degree in apparel, textiles and design with the goal of entering the fashion industry.
“Like with a lot of women, I think fashion is their secret passion. It’s like, ‘I want to do it, but I could never actually do it.’ I just decided after a while that I am just going to go for it and see what happens.’”
Rice now works at One World Cafe while living in Moscow. She said she hopes to save up enough to one day move away from the Palouse to pursue her dreams.
“You got to take it one step at a time. I didn’t want to go to a huge city like New York or LA, because I am from LA, and that is where a lot of the opportunities are. So without even wanting to jump into a bigger city atmosphere like Seattle or Portland, I am just kind of taking it a little bit slower and figuring it out.”
