“I am a Christian, so my relationship with God is what defines me — my identity is in Christ. I have learned a lot from classic literature and the wisdom that can be found in there. The reason I came to this college is to study the classic works, find out the wisdom they have that can give me a more-broad perspective for understanding Christian beliefs.”
“It (the Christian community) is a good community — the people look out for you. There’s adults that are asking you things, all the faculty are Christians, there are families that volunteer to take in girls who want to board with them for the school year for this college. It is kind of like being at home, you have people looking out for you, which is really nice. People who try to build you up and teach you, they help you learn and grow in your faith. They are actually looking out for your deeper needs.”
