Corrin Bond – Editor-in-Chief
Corrin Bond stumbled into the newsroom of the student-run college paper three years ago and has been infatuated with journalism ever since. The University of Idaho senior is majoring in English with a creative writing emphasis and appreciates all forms of storytelling. Corrin is particularly enamored with nature, babies, cats, and adorable couples.
Erin Bamer – Associate Editor
Erin Bamer is a senior studying broadcasting and digital media at the University of Idaho. She hopes to remain working in the media after she graduates, and is always looking forward to learning new things and meeting new people in her community.
Krista Stanley – Creative Director
Krista Stanley is a senior at University of Idaho majoring in advertising and math (probably with a graphic art emphasis, if she ever goes through the paperwork to add it). Krista loves art and design (which is probably a good thing since she’s the creative director for Blot this year). She spent last fall studying in Budapest, Hungary, and can now speak at least five words of Hungarian. She also loves travel and adventure, spending time in the mountains and just having fun.
Tea Nelson – Marketing Director
Tea Nelson is currently a public relations major with a minor is business marketing. She is also the production manager at the Argonaut and the director of formal recruitment for her sorority, Alpha Phi. Her future goal is to work at a small PR firm with a focus on health and lifestyle brands. Tea is happiest at the beach and hopes to live near one in the future.
Lyndsie Kiebert – Copy Editor
Lyndsie Kiebert wasn’t always a copy editor. It wasn’t until she joined UI’s Student Media that she knew her peers needed a hero — someone to yield an AP style guide, to tenderly troubleshoot proper quote formats and to strike down oxford commas. And most importantly, she loves nothing more.
When she’s not working one-on-one with writers or editing copy, Lyndsie is most likely working on the next great American novel, hiking a mountain or binge eating mustard pretzels. Originally from Hope, Idaho, — a town of 250 people on the gorgeous shores of Lake Pend Oreille in north Idaho — Lyndsie has known she wanted to be a professional storyteller since the age of eight. She is currently majoring in English with an emphasis in professional writing, with the ultimate goal to write narrative-style journalism as a wildly successful freelancer living on a Montana ranch like the female re-birth of Ivan Doig.
Joleen Evans – Photo Editor
Joleen Evans is a sophomore studying environmental science with a minor in political science at the University of Idaho. She got her first DSLR camera in middle school and the rest is history. Outside of Student Media, Joleen plays trombone in the UI Marching Band and basketball pep band. Her other hobbies include asking to pet strangers’ dogs, yelling at people to recycle and spending too much money at Red Bento.
Cassidy Callaham – Video Editor
Brought to you by breakfast food and coffee, Cassidy Callaham grew up in the Pacific Northwest, bouncing between southern Idaho and western Washington. She’s shamelessly addicted to planning Christmas gifts, watching “How I Met Your Mother” and “Masterchef,” and enjoying good brews and fat burgers. The fourth-year broadcasting and digital media student is having a love-affair with journalism and is only slightly obsessed with her dog, ’80s music and salads. After she graduates in May, she will travel abroad before settling back down in western Washington. Cassidy hopes to find a job in her field around the Seattle area with a focus on sports.
